To sell your vehicle on this website, click Sell a Vehicle in the main menu or click here.  Then select a listing package, Regular, Plus or Premium.

 

Enter all the details about your vehicle and a long description that will help to sell your vehicle.  Be sure to upload as many images of your classic as you can.  Upload any digital files pertaining to your classic, such as a Bill of sale, Service Records, etc. as well.  Lastly, enter in the location of the vehicle and click “Add Listing”.

 

You will then be taken to Checkout where you can pay for the listing and we will review your listing and approve it to make it officially for sale via our website.

To list your classic on this website with its best potential to sell,  please enter in all of the following information.

  • Descriptive Title:  Typically year make & model
  • Short Description (up to 250 characters)
  • Category:  Car, Truck or Motorcycle
  • Type: 2 door, 4 door, convertible, etc.
  • Make & Model
  • Price
  • Year
  • Drive Type: AWD/4WD, Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive
  • Transmission: Automatic, Manual or Semi-Automatic
  • VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
  • Interior & Exterior Colors
  • Mileage Odometer
  • Long Description:  This description can be as long as you like.  A carefully crafted description is the best way to sell a classic car or truck.  Be sure to include details of its condition and history.
  • Images:  Upload up to 50 images of your vehicle.  The more, the better.
  • Digital Attachments (Bill of sale, Service Records, etc.)
  • Enter Location:  Be sure to enter the city where the vehicle is located.

We offer three listing packages to choose from.  You will only pay the one-time fee depending on which package you choose.  There are no additional fees or commissions to pay.

 

Our Regular package is $129.99.  Your vehicle will be listed on our website until it is sold.  

 

Our Plus package is $179.99. Your vehicle will be a featured listing for four weeks and will be listed on our website until it is sold.

 

Our Premium package is $349.99.  Your vehicle will be a featured listing on our website until it is sold.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Our goal is to get your vehicle listing on the website as soon as possible. Typically vehicle listings are approved within a matter of hours and no longer than one business day, Monday through Friday. The approval period is primarily dependent on the amount of completed vehicle information that is submitted. Ensuring that your submission is complete allows for the quickest processing time.

In rare circumstances, a vehicle may not be approved.  This could be due to the age of the vehicle, its condition or other factors relating to online classic car sales.

 

If for some reason your vehicle submission is not approved, you will be sent an email indicating the reason and will receive a full refund for your paid package.

Your classic car or truck will be listed on our website until it is sold regardless of the package you select.  

 

The only difference between the listing packages is how long your vehicle can be featured on the website.  

 

The Plus package features your vehicle for four weeks and the Premium package means your vehicle will be a featured listing on our website until it is sold.  

If your vehicle does not sell in a reasonable amount of time (3 months maximum), reach out to us and we will have a close look at your listing to see if there are opportunities to make your listing more appealing.

 

Many times, a better description, more images and more disclosed information about a vehicle, like historical service records, can really help to make a sale.

Currently we are only accepting consignment vehicles located in the US and Canada. If your vehicle is located outside of those two countries, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

We offer plenty of advice on how to sell a classic vehicle.  Be sure to visit our Seller Info page for tips on how to determine a fair selling price, getting your classic ready to sell, and other tips like taking great photographs and understanding market trends.

LindsaysClassics.com is merely a listing website for classic cars and trucks.  To purchase a classic car or truck, you will need to message the seller using the form provided on the vehicle’s listing page.

 

Once you message a seller, please allow at least 24 hours for a response.  If you have not heard back from the seller, you can contact us for further assistance.  We will attempt to contact the seller on your behalf.

 

Once you have made contact with the seller, the sale and transportation of the vehicle will be decided upon by yourself and the seller.  Lindsay’s Classics is not part of the selling process and does not offer any services for the selling process.

To view or edit your vehicle listing, you must log in by first clicking the Log In button in the header of the website or by clicking this link:  https://lindsaysclassics.com/login-register/

 

Once logged in, you will be immediately taken to your listing’s dashboard.  Click on Edit to make changes or additions to any of your listing’s details.  Be sure to click the Save Changes button when you are finished editing the listing.

 

Click the View button to see your listing as it appears on the website.

To see how many times your vehicle listing has been viewed, you must log in by first clicking the Log In button in the header of the website or by clicking this link:  https://lindsaysclassics.com/login-register/

 

Once logged in, you will be immediately taken to your listing’s dashboard.  You will see a snapshot summary of your vehicle listing.  Among the information in your summary is the number of times your vehicle listing has been viewed.  You can also see how many times it has been selected as a favorite listing.  

To see when your featured vehicle listing will expire, you must log in by first clicking the Log In button in the header of the website or by clicking this link:  https://lindsaysclassics.com/login-register/

 

Once logged in, you will be immediately taken to your listing’s dashboard.  You will see a snapshot summary of your vehicle listing.  Among the information in your summary is the amount of time left before your featured vehicle listing will expire. 

 

You will also see the amount of time before your vehicle listing will expire.  Our system defaults to 900 days, but we are confident all vehicles listed on Lindsay’s Classics will sell well before that.

To change your account password, you must log in by first clicking the Log In button in the header of the website or by clicking this link:  https://lindsaysclassics.com/login-register/

Once logged in, you will be immediately taken to your listings dashboard.  Click on Account tab located at the top of your dashboard. 

 

After navigating to your Account dashboard, click on Change Password.  Next, enter in your old password and then enter in your new password and click the Save button.

 

 

To change your account email and other profile information, you must log in by first clicking the Log In button in the header of the website or by clicking this link:  https://lindsaysclassics.com/login-register/

 

Once logged in, you will be immediately taken to your listings dashboard.  Click on Account tab located at the top of your dashboard. 

 

After navigating to your Account dashboard, you will see all of your account details like your name and email address.  Be sure to click the Save button after making any changes.

You can subscribe to Lindsay’s Classics email alerts by signing up here. Get updates and information on new and current listings. We will also send you news and trends from the classic car community.

Be sure to check the spam folder in your email for a from address of support@lindsayclassic.cabaretti.com. Sometimes emails will get flagged. If you don’t see anything there, confirm that your email address on your profile is correct.
